Left fielder John Mabry had 3 base hits as the Fort Collins Force topped the

Georgia Crackers by a score of 2 to 1 at The Death Star.

The deciding run was scored by Fort Collins in the bottom of the 8th. Johnny

Damon tripled. Derek Jeter got his chance to keep things going, but he went

down on strikes. Trot Nixon then was hit by a pitch. J.T. Snow followed and

he hit a deep fly scoring the run. Georgia proved to be no trouble in the

9th.
