At Seals Stadium, the Antioch faithful were treated to an intriguing pitcher's
duel.  Rodrigo Lopez(1-0) finally bested his Mississippi counterpart, Mark
Mulder(0-2), by the score of 3 to 0.

Mississippi surrendered all of the runs Antioch needed in the 4th inning when
they scored 3 runs on 2 hits.  After the 4th inning, neither team was able to
score.  

Lopez got help from Francisco Rodriguez who earned his 1st save. The loss was
charged to Mulder.  He allowed 3 runs and 2 hits in 3 and 2/3 innings.
