Shortstop Miguel Tejada had 3 base hits and scored 3 times as the Mississippi
Big Orange defeated the Antioch Coal Miners by the score of 5 to 3 at Seals
Stadium.

Mississippi had the winning rally in the 8th inning with 2 runs utilizing 2
base hits.  After an out was recorded, Adam Dunn started the rally when he
stroked a base-hit.  Soriano got a great jump and stole second easily.
Tejada then drew a walk.  Milton Bradley stepped in and he drew a walk to
load the bases.  Aaron Rowand came to the plate and slapped a single knocking
home two runners.  Mississippi finished with 10 hits while Antioch ended up
with 7.  

Ryan Madson(1-0) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Juan Rincon
recorded his 1st save.  Livan Hernandez(0-1) ended up with the loss.
