First baseman Jeff Kent had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Kevin Millwood went the

distance as the Buster's Battalions topped the Seattle Pilots by a score of

11 to 4 at Phelps Field.

Kent led the offense for Buster's. He doubled in the 1st inning, singled in

the 3rd inning, hit a single in the 5th inning and popped a two-run clout

over the fence (his 1st of the season) in the 8th inning. Buster's rapped

out 14 hits for the afternoon.

Millwood(2-0) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Jarrod

Washburn(0-2) ended up with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 7 hits and
